Jess Albert Garrett Jr.

Jess Albert Garrett Jr., 86, died June 2, 2007, at his home in Sun City, Ariz., after a period of declining health. Graveside services were 2 p.m. June 8 at Arlington Memory Gardens Cemetery in Midwest City under the direction of McNeil’s Mustang Funeral Service in Mustang. Online condolences may be made at www.mcneilsmustangfs.com. He was born to Jess Albert and Mable (Ward) Garrett Sr. April 8, 1921, in Lindsay and grew up in the Lindsay area. He was a graduate of Lindsay High School. He served more than 21 years in the U.S. Air Force before retiring as a chief master sergeant (E9) in 1963. After military retirement, he worked several years at Tinker Air Force Base. He was a resident of Del City for many years, moving to Sun City, Ariz., in August of 1999. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife, Elna. He is survived by his wife, Ruth of Sun City, Ariz.; two daughters, Jacque Mooney and husband Gerald of Del City and Jan Garrett of Oklahoma City; a stepson, Randy Tubbs and wife Carol of Long Beach, Calif.; and a stepdaughter, Patti Lamkins of Sun City, Ariz.; two grandsons, five stepgrandchildren, six great-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Virginia McCormick of Marino Valley, Calif.



Oliver ‘Pete’ J. Williams

Oliver “Pete” J. Williams passed away June 7, 2007. Funeral services were 10 a.m. June 11 at Soldier Creek Baptist Church. Burial followed at 3:30 p.m. at Dustin Cemetery in Dustin. Services were under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Northeast. He was born April 3, 1928, in Okemah to Johnny and LaRue Williams. He worked for 20 years as a sheet metal mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base. He was a member of Soldier Creek Baptist Church for 49 years and taught the senior men’s Sunday school class for 15 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jewel; two daughters, Sharon Johnson and husband Carl of Missouri and Phyllis Cagle and husband Jim of Texas; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and his sister, Jo Ray and husband Hartsil of Tennessee.



Wanda Sue Martin

Wanda Sue Martin, 74, of Oklahoma City passed away June 3, 2007. Services were 1 p.m. June 8, 2007, at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel. Burial followed at Arlington Memory Gardens. Services were under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Northeast. She was born May 25, 1933, in Marble City. She worked for Putnam City schools as a custodian. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Florence (Hensley) Emerson; and three brothers, Thurman, Gene and Keith Emerson. She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Cassat of Oklahoma City; two sons, Bobby Martin and wife Renia of Oklahoma City and Amos Martin of Sallisaw; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Emerson and James Emerson; two sisters, Pauline Higgins and Carlene Taylor; and her special friend, Keith Arnold.



Jaunita Keith

Jaunita Keith, 77, passed away June 7, 2007, in Tucson, Ariz. Family will receive family and friends 6-8 p.m. today at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. June 14 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home. Burial followed at Arlington Memory Gardens. Services were under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Northeast. She was born Sept. 8, 1929, in Mt. View to Melton Caleb and Dora S. (Benson) Coker, who preceded her in death. She married Ellis J. Keith July 30, 1949, in Oklahoma City. She was a member of the WMU and attended Plainview Baptist Church and Sylvania Baptist Church in Sylvania, Ohio. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and crocheting. She is survived by her husband, Ellis of the home; two sons, Jimmy Keith of Ohio and Tom Keith and wife Becky of Virginia; four daughters, Pauline Grace and husband Dave of Marysville, Ohio, Karen Roelle and husband John of Arizona, Karla Caruso and husband Anthony of Wickliffe, Ohio, and Joanna Keith of Sheffield Lake, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; five brothers, Paul, James, Earl, Timmy and Larry Coker; three sisters, Geneva East, Thelma Keith and Dee McFarland. Memorial contributions may be made to Casa de la Luz Hospice in Tucson, Ariz.



OnaIrene Pritchard

OnaIrene Pritchard, 68, of Jones died June 8, 2007. A graveside service was 2 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Edmond conducted by Ford Funeral Service. Services were officiated by Pastor Steve Eden. He was born October 21, 1938, in Oklahoma City, the daughter of Floyd and Dorothy Alban. She is survived by her husband, Melvin of the home; a daughter, Karen and husband Leroy Kirkes and their three children, all of McLoud; a son, Robert Owens of Dallas, Texas; a stepdaughter, Tina Mangham and her son; a stepdaughter and husband, Theresa and Raymond Ray and their three children; and two great-grandchildren.



Vickie Kirkpatrick

Vickie Kirkpatrick, died early June 9, 2007, quietly in her sleep at her sister’s home in Bethany. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. June 14 at Sunny Lane Cemetery. Services will be under the direction of Ford Funeral Service. Her death came after a prolonged battle with emphysema and a short and unexpected bout with cancer. She was born Sept. 27, 1942, in Duncan Amos and Maxine Dove. She lived most of her life in Del City. She loved writing and her work was published in a number of magazines. Her passion for the last 10 years was genealogy. She was also a tutor through Literacy Link and helped several people learn to read. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gene Kirkpatrick; three daughters, Tracy Lynn, Brenda Kaye and her husband David Claunch and Catherine Elizabeth and her husband Larry Davis; two sisters Jean Reed and Pat Lindley and husband Bill Lindley; a brother, Bill Dove and wife Donna; a brother-in-law, Ronnie Pruitt and wife Bobbie of Magnolia, Texas; and a host of others.



Minnie Martha Struhal

Minnie Martha Struhal of Del City died June 9, 2007, in Midwest City. Funeral services were 10 a.m. June 12 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Burial was at Czechoslovakian National Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Southeast. She was born Oct. 10, 1912, in Bryan, Texas, the daughter of Gus and Katie Mussyal. Her family moved to Edmond when she was a small child. She married Jerry Struhal Feb. 15, 1947, in El Reno. She worked as a saleslady at Rothchilds and John A. Brown. She was a member of Choctaw United Methodist Church and Woman’s Auxiliary of VFW. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Deborah Johnson; four brothers; and three sisters. She is survived by her husband, Jerry; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Rose Albright of Oklahoma City; one brother, Charlie Mussyal of Oklahoma City; and many nieces and nephews.



Genevieve A. (Voegeli) Stotler

Genevieve A. (Voegeli) Stotler, 92, died June 10, 2007. A wake service was 7 p.m. June 12 at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church in Del City. A funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church. This will be followed by a Rosary at 3 p.m. in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Anadarko. Burial will be in Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko. She was born June 4, 1915, in Cheney, Kan., to Michael and Elizabeth (Reding) Voegeli and raised in Chickasha where she married Paul Stotler April 24, 1935. They lived in and near Anadarko for more than 56 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul; one brother, Raymond; three sisters, Loretta Novotny, Florence Wallace and Marcella Dobry; two sons-in-law, Ken Kuhns and Ed Goodhue; and a great-grandchild, Dennis Chandler. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Mary E. and Carl Sullivan, Larry and Anna Mae Stotler, Alice and Matt Stupak, Carolyn Goodhue, Johanna and Tom Lucas, Ronald and Cleta Stotler, Patrick and Elizabeth Stotler, Karen Kuhns and Victor and Teresa Stotler; a brother, Leonard Voegeli; two sisters, Ophelia Arledge and Theresa Huot; two sisters-in-law, Mary Voegeli and Agnes Voegeli; 24 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
