Emma Furn Smith Overfelt

Emma Furn Smith Overfelt passed away at 7:20 p.m. June 5, 2007. Services were under the direction of Ford Funeral Service. She was born Aug. 14, 1920, in Chismville, Ark. She married James Overfelt May 4, 1939. She was preceded in death by one son, John Overfelt; her parents, Claude and Ola Smith; one sister, Genelle McNeil; and one brother, Ray Smith. She is survived by her husband, James; two daughters, Jequeta Kemp of Guymon; Nancy and Bill Pardue of Longview, Texas; three grandsons; a great-grandson; four granddaughters; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Carolyn and Wes Fugett of Bartlesville.



Delsa Lily Willis

Delsa Lily Willis, 85, of Jones passed away June 5, 2007, in Oklahoma City. Services were 10 a.m. June 8 at the First Christian Church of Jones. Burial followed at Jones I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Barnes & Johnson Funeral Home. She was born May 25, 1922, in Claremore to Roy and Flossie (Malone) Huls. She was a graduate of Sequoyah High School. She married Richard Willis July 20, 1939. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two sons, Jack and Jim Willis; a sister, Peggy Wright; and a great-granddaughter. She is survived by two daughters, Joy Wallace and her husband David and Judy Vigil and her husband Julian; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and two daughters-in-law, Ruby Willis and Jill Merliss.
