Teresa “Grammy” Julene Evans
Teresa “Grammy” Julene Evans lost her seven-month battle with lung cancer April 17, 2007. A memorial was set up on both the American Lung Association and American Cancer Society Web sites and donations may be made in her honor. Cards and letters may be sent to Ford Funeral Service, 305 S. Sooner Road, Midwest City, OK, 73110. The family will held a private memorial service. She was born April 23, 1951, at Mercy Hospital in downtown Oklahoma City. She grew up in Tahlequah and later north Oklahoma City where she graduated from Northwest Classen High School in 1969. She met the love of her life, Parker Lee Evans Jr. They were married Aug. 5, 1969, and they went on to have one son and two grandchildren. She worked for more than 30 years in the financial sector, including 15 years at Midwest City Credit Union and the last eight years as vice president of Woods Credit Union. Her cooking, sense of humor and compassion for everyone were her most defining characteristics. She was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Stinson; her father, Virgil Chilcoat; and her stepfather, Tommy Stinson. She is survived by her husband, Parker Evans; a sister, June Hallman; a son, Jason Evans and spouse Candie Evans; and two grandchildren.
Edward H. O’Neil
Edward H. O’Neil, 78, died May 17, 2007, after a prolonged illness. A graveside service was 2 p.m. May 19 at Arlington Memory Gardens. Services were under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Northeast. He was born June 23, 1928 to Calvin and Clara J. O’Neil. He was a retired Midwest City firefighter and had owned and trained Quarter Race Horses. He is survived by a son, Larry O’Neil; three daughters, Jeanne Jordan of Las Vegas, Cheryl Brewington of Oklahoma City and Linda Fultz of Stillwater; a brother, Wilburn O’Neil; two sisters, Francis Ledford of Midwest City and Magratte Boatman of California; and others.
Margaret Elizabeth Adam
Margaret Elizabeth Adam of Midwest City passed away May 20, 2007. She was born Feb. 6, 1925, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Andrew Lollmann of Okeene. She married Charles Omer Adam Aug. 21, 1946. Sharing 56 wonderful years together, they had five children, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many family and friends. She was well respected in the food service industry in the Mid-Del school district for more than 20 years. She was also a dedicated member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles O.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Lollman; a brother, Bud Lollmann; a sister, Genevieve Pavlu; a son, Charles Wayne; and a granddaughter, Miranda Dyan Adam. She is survived by her children, Jannette Adam of Midwest City, Kent Adam and wife Debra of Owasso, Connie and husband Doug Jordan of Oklahoma City and Thomas Adam of San Diego, Calif.; five grandchildren and their spouses; and five great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial was 10 a.m. May 25, 2007, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Midwest City. Burial was at Arlington Memory Gardens.
