Ruth Marie Johnson
Ruth Marie Johnson, 67, of Midwest City passed away April 13, 2007. Services were 10 a.m. April 19, 2007, at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel. Services were under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Northeast. She was born Sept. 3, 1939, in Petoskey, Mich. She enjoyed playing bingo and gardening. She is survived by her two daughters, Cindy Montelepre and husband Tony of North Carolina and Angie Teppo of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren and one on the way; three sisters, Catherine, Shirley and Helene; three brothers, Cecil, Ivan and Robert; and many other nieces, nephews and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Frank and Marcella Mary (Wasson) Taylor; two sisters, Teresa and Alice; and three brothers, Richard Clyde and Donnie.
Walter ‘Buster’ Ray Randolph
Walter “Buster” Ray Randolph, 66, passed away April 13, 2007, at his home. Funeral services were 11 a.m. April 17, 2007, at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel. Burial followed at Dale Cemetery in Dale. Services were under the direction of Bill Eisenhour. He was born March 24, 1941, to Louise Jane Howard in Lynn, Ark. He and Paulia Francis (Cox) were married for 46 years. Mr. Randolph served in the Army National Guard and worked in dry wall in the housing construction business. He is survived by his wife, Paulia; four children, Randy and wife Darla, Carla and husband Merle Davis, Walton and wife Malynda and Ricky and wife Noreen; 17 grandchildren and their spouses; three great-grandchildren; a brother, James and wife Norma; a niece, Amy; a nephew, Darin; and other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Doug Jennings
Doug Jennings, 73, passed away April 15, 2007. He was born at the beginning of the Great Depression, May 13, 1933. He missed school in the spring and fall to help his family plant and harvest. He was able to graduate from high school two years early. He went on to join the Air Force where he served both at home and abroad for eight years. It was during this time that he met Ruth and wed. They celebrated 49 years of marriage February 2007. He spent the remainder of his career working as an electrical engineer for the Air Force. He and his wife had three children and eight grandchildren. His love of God and His church eclipsed his love of everything else. He is survived by his wife, Ruth of Choctaw; two daughters, Pam and husband Larry Roberts of Midwest City and Melissa and husband Greg Southwick of Okmulgee; a son, Dr. Paul and wife Amy Jennings of Shawnee; eight grandchildren; and a brother, Harry Ray Jennings of Pampa, Texas.
Marilyn Rose (Green) Williams
Marilyn Rose (Green) Williams passed away April 13, 2007. She was born to Asa H. and Florence L. Green in Cushing Aug. 12, 1934. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Elmer Williams; three children, Larry Bessinger and wife Herma, Sissy Belicek and husband Rick and Tim Williams; one sister, Louise Cannon; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and infant son, Roy Gene Bessinger. Services were 10 a.m. April 17, 2007, at Crutcho First Baptist Church. Pastor Rick Belicheck officiated. Caskets Inc. provided the services. Burial followed in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Newalla.
Sue Reeves Fluty
Sue Reeves Fluty, 81, of Choctaw died April 14, 2007. Her funeral was 2 p.m. April 18 at the Sunnylane Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Frank Wiley officiated. Burial followed in the Elmwood Cemetery in Choctaw. Services were conducted by Ford Funeral Service. She was born Feb. 19, 1926, in Abbott, Ark., the daughter of Charles and Claudie Hudspeth. She loved Sunnylane Free Will Baptist Church and she enjoyed her work with DANWA (neighborhood watch). She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Pauline Nelson; and two brothers, Clarence Hudspeth and Charles Hudspeth Jr. She is survived by a daughter, Linda and husband Leon Taylor of Choctaw; a grandson and his wife; a granddaughter and her husband; and three great-grandchildren.
Dewey W. Cleveland Jr.
Dewey W. Cleveland Jr., 79, of Choctaw passed away April 15, 2007. The funeral service was 10 a.m. April 19, 2007, at First Baptist Church Newalla. Burial followed at Dale Cemetery in Dale. Services were under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Northeast. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Frances; children, Kathy Lane, Pamela Taylor, Paul Cleveland and Tommy Cleveland; one daughter-in-law, Loretta Farley; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He retired from Tinker Air Force Base in November 1980. “See you later alligator.”
Glenda ‘Joan’ Titus
Glenda “Joan” Titus, 65, of Oklahoma City, passed away April 16, 2007. She was born September 9, 1941, in Carter. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked as a dispatcher for Warr Acres and the chief of police in Spencer. She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy; her father, Devo; one brother, Weldon; one sister, Elizabeth; and one nephew, Joe. She is survived by her mother, Polly; two brothers, Bobby Dan and Richard; one sister, Aletha; three children, Avery, Bobby and Polly; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 10 a.m. April 20, 2007, at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at 3 p.m. in Carter Cemetery in Carter.
Aleta I. Hardaker
Aleta I. Hardaker, 93, of Jones was a beloved mother and granny. She passed away April 16, 2007, at Wolfe Living Center in Harrah. She was born to John T. and Doshie Moore Aug. 11, 1913, in Harrah. In 1937, she married Shirley W. Hardaker of Jones where they lived most of their 61 years of married life. She was a homemaker and seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley; her parents; and one sister, Evah Ross. She is survived by her sister, Wanda Hayes Jones of Fayetteville, Ark.; her son, Bill and his wife Marty of Jones; two daughters, Beverly Lawson and husband Bill of Choctaw and Donna Kay Hicks of Jones; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 2 p.m. April 20, 2007, at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel. Burial followed at Jones IOOF Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Northeast.
