Joyce Arlene Swanson

Joyce Arlene Swanson, 79, died April 10, 2007, in Nicoma Park. Funeral services were Friday at Nicoma Park United Methodist Church. Burial followed at Okmulgee Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Northeast. She was born March 31, 1928, to Joe and Maude Adamson of Okemah. She graduated from Rosenburg High School in Rosenburg, Texas, in 1945. She moved to Oklahoma and worked for her father at Okmulgee Municipal Airport where she earned her pilot’s license. She moved to Nicoma Park in 1965 and retired from the U.S. Post Office in 1989. She was a member of Nicoma Park United Methodist Church. She volunteered at Midwest Regional Medical Center and served at the Senior Citizen Center in Spencer. She married Jack E. Brown July 6, 1949, in Okemah. He preceded her in death in 1975. She married Andrew J. Swanson in Oct. 19, 1977, in Fresno, Calif. She is survived by her husband, Andrew Swanson; four children, Les and Kay Brown of Claremore, Michael and Susie Brown of Mustang, Jacqueline Brown of Roanoke, Va. and Sheryl and Wylie Cuthriell of Nicoma Park; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two half brothers, David Adamson and George Unterkircher.



Glen Dale Wise

Glen Dale Wise, 70, of Jones passed away April 6, 2007. Graveside services were Monday at Jones IOOF. Services were under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home. He was born June 5, 1936, in Fittstown. He attended Jones Cowboy Church. He was a carpenter and truck driver and enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. He is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Roe and husband Ace of Jones; three sons, Darrell Wise and wife Angie of Yukon, Brian Wise of Jones and Alvin Wise of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Alvin, Jeff and Melvin; and five sisters, Linda, Glenda, Betty, Alvena and Arlene. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Effie Stout Wise; and a brother, Orvel.



Anna Lee Eichler

Anna Lee Eichler, 79, passed away April 8, 2007. She married Robert in February 1945. She was a court reporter at Tinker Air Force Base and was a member of NARFE. She enjoyed ceramics, flower gardening, cooking, the outdoors, traveling and fishing. She attended all the grandchildren graduations and sports activities. She is survived by her children, Richard, Gary, Sherry and Steve; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; a sister, Laverne Sullivan; a brother, Warren Gully; a sister-in-law and her best friend, Eleanor Nichols; and several lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Ethel Griggs; her husband Robert; and two sons, Tommy and Glenn. Funeral services were 2 p.m. April 13 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel. Burial was at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Services were under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home.



Frances Regina (Kuestersteffen) Roberts

Frances Regina (Kuestersteffen) Roberts, 92, of McLoud. She passed away April 10, 2007, in Harrah. A wake service was 7 p.m. April 12, at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church in McLoud. Mass of Christian Burial was 10 a.m. April 13 at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church in McLoud. Father Adrian Vorderlandwehr, O.S.B. officiated. Burial followed at Resthaven Memorial Park in Shawnee. She was born March 2, 1915, at Sacred Heart, to Kasper F. and Theresa (Hillerman) Kuestersteffen. She attended St. Mary’s Academy at Sacred Heart. She married Eskell F. Roberts Jan. 30, 1945. Together they raised their children in Shawnee and later retired to their cabin at Lake Eufaula. She worked as a cook, clerk and later as a public accountant. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Donald and Thomas; two brothers; four sisters; and a grandchild. She is survived by a son, James Roberts and wife Cora of Spring, Texas; a daughter, Linda Ferrell and husband Gary of McLoud; a daughter-in-law, Linda Roberts of McLoud; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and many other relatives and friends. Services were under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service in Harrah. A guest book is available at www.smithparks.com.



Evelyn Lucille Madden

Evelyn Lucille Madden, 85, of Midwest City died April 11, 2007. Services were 1 p.m. April 13 in the Candlewood Chapel at Ford Funeral Service. Pastor Royce Smith officiated. Burial followed at Arlington Memory Gardens. Services were conducted by Ford Funeral Service. She was born Sept. 8, 1921, in Milburn, the daughter of Roy and Susie Buchanan. She loved to needlepoint and embroider. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter B. Madden; five brothers, Herman and Thurman Davis and Raymond, Eugene and Douglas Buchanan. She is survived by two sons, Billy Rose and his wife Gail and Tony Madden and wife Connie; one daughter, Sherry Willingham and husband Bill; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a host of loving nieces, nephews and one brother, Roy L. Buchanan Jr.



Marcello Rodriguez III

Marcello Rodriguez III, 40, passed away April 10, 2007. A service honoring his life was held Friday at the Church of The Open Arms under the direction of Caskets Inc.and officiated by the Rev. Kathy McCallie. Burial took place at the Eakly Cemetery on April 14. He was born July 2, 1966 in Elkhorn, Wis. to Marcel and Sheila Rodriguez. He grew up in Eakly and graduated from Eakly High. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He managed a portrait studio. Rodriguez is survived by his mother, Sheila of Midwest City; his father, Marcel of Delevan, Wis.; two sisters, Dena Rawlins of Midwest City and Linda Ann Rodriguez of Texas; a brother, Bert Rodriguez of Moore; his grandparents, Lucina Nipple, Aurora Rodriguez and Lucia Ramos; and many other relatives and friends.
