Bobby Dean Anthony

Bobby Dean Anthony, 62, of Del City passed away at home surrounded by his family March 28, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer. A celebration of his life was 1 p.m. March 31 at Sunny Lane United Methodist Church. Burial was at Sunset Memorial Park. Services were under the direction of Ford Funeral Service. He taught drafting for eight years and was a salesman for Public Supply Company for 28 years. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Annette; his mother, Velma; two daughters, Dedra and husband Rod Strecker and Dana and husband Frank Shelton of Del City; a brother, Kenneth and wife Laudra of College Station, Texas; a brother-in-law, Jack and wife Gail Farley of Dustin; a sister-in-law, Christine Brandon of San Diego, Calif.; a granddaughter; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ottes Anthony; and a brother, Doug.



Thomas Gabriel Peters

Thomas Gabriel Peters, 33, of Jones passed away March 26, 2007. Services were 2 p.m. March 30 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel. Burial was at Jones IOOF Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home. He was born Oct. 11, 1973, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He attended the First Baptist Church of Jones. He loved to cook, play the guitar, listen to music, rescue animals and to shoot and watch movies. As a boy, he cheered for the bull at rodeos. He is survived by a son, Jaeden Peters; his parents, Thomas and Aida Peters of Jones; two brothers, Alan Sisbario and wife Sarah of Austin and Andy Avalos of Corpus Christi, Texas; his grandparents, Armando and Teodora Avalos of Corpus Christi, Texas; a special aunt, Azalea Sanchez of Corpus Christi, Texas; and many other aunts, uncles and family members. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jeremy H. Peters; and his grandparents, Shelby R. Hope Sr. and Martha Jo Dudley.



L. D. Gatlin

L. D. Gatlin, 78, of Newalla passed away March 29, 2007, in Norman. Services were 10 a.m. April 2, at the First Baptist Church in Newalla. The Rev. Griff Henderson and the Rev. Bob Willis officiated. Burial followed at Dale Cemetery in Dale. Services were under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah. He was born July 18, 1928, in Hickory, to William Lon and Ollie (James) Gatlin. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked at Fleming Foods for nearly 20 years, where he was a shop supervisor. He enjoyed playing the guitar, the outdoors, boating and was an avid OU football and OU women’s basketball fan. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Lahoma South and Melva Essary; and two grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice “Jerry” Gatlin of Newalla; a son, Larry Gatlin of Oklahoma City; four daughters, Vickie Findley and husband Joe of Newalla, Linda Nolen and Joe of McLoud, Debbie Higdon of Harrah and Gina Gatlin of Newalla; a brother, Pete Gatlin; five sisters, Johnnie Thomas of Sulphur, Bill Hicks of Sulphur, Brondell Nelson of Moore, Othell Johnson of McLoud and Lorey Coe of Hoquium, Wash.; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren, a great-great-granchild, and numerous other relatives and friends. Olen C. McEntire

Olen C. McEntire, 80, of Choctaw passed away March 28, 2007, at the Norman Veterans Center. A graveside service was 10 a.m. April 2 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Services were conducted by Bill Eisenhour Northeast. He was born Dec. 8, 1926, to Frank and Juanita (Cooper) McEntire in Elk City. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired from Townsco Contracting, where he worked as a superintendent for more than 20 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivia, who passed away in November; a brother, Kenneth McEntire; a sister, Nona Mitchell; and a son, Olen Glen McEntire. He is survived by two daughters, Cathy Mitchell and husband Ross of Clinton and Debby Claxton and husband Warren of Oklahoma City; two sons, Leslie McEntire and Danny McEntire; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.



Mike Allen

Mike Allen, 44, of Newalla passed away March 29, 2007, in Midwest City. Services were 2 p.m. April 2 at the First Baptist Church in Choctaw. Dr. Ray Sikes officiated. Burial followed at Memory Lane Cemetery in Harrah. Services were under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service in Harrah. He was born Oct. 17, 1962, in Oklahoma City, to Raymond Allen and Jo Ann (Purser) Bray. He graduated from Choctaw High School in 1980 and completed two years of college at Oscar Rose Junior (Rose State) College. He worked 14 years at AT&T, which later became Lucent Technologies. He was employed at Tinker Air Force Base for the past five years. He was a member of NSRA and the Lo-Lifes Hot Rod Club. He enjoyed building streetrods, riding his Harley and going to drag races. He was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Karen Allen of Newalla; a son, Brandon Allen of Newalla; his mother, Jo Ann Bray of Choctaw; his father, Raymond Allen of Jones; and many other relatives, friends and co-workers at Tinker. Joyce Marie Genzler

Joyce Marie Genzler, 72, of Midwest City, passed away March 29, 2007, in her home. Services were 2 p.m. April 2 at Paylor Dignity Memorial Chapel in Midwest City. Burial was at the Sunny Lane Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Paylor Funeral Home. She is survived by her husband, Robert Genzler; three daughters Grace Major, Donna Genzler and Jane Kinsey and husband Wayne; and a son, James Genzler; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Grace Choate and husband James and Jewel Dean Apple; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Etta and Ulysses Sands; two brothers, Wayne and Buster Sands; three sons, Ray, John and Danny Genzler; and two granddaughters.



Rodney Stephen Fraley

Rodney Stephen Fraley, 59, of Luther, passed away March 31, 2007, in Luther. Services were 2 p.m. April 5 at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel in Harrah. The Rev. Tony Alvarez officiated. Burial followed at Memory Lane Cemetery in Harrah. Services were under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah. A guest book is available at www.smithparks.com. He was born May 11, 1947, in Charleston, W.Va., the son of Dennie G. Fraley and Ora Marie (Meadows) Moore. He moved to the Oklahoma City area in 1982 from Florida. He served in Harrah law enforcement for 19 years and was a member of the FOP organization. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed fishing and scary movies. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Edna Fay Simpson. He is survived by his wife, Jane Fraley of Luther; two sons, Michael Anthony Fraley and wife Pamela of Newalla and Timothy Stephen Fraley and wife Jennifer of Norman; two daughters, Dennise Townsend of Del City and Diana Fraley of Del City; a brother, Don Fraley of Harrah; 16 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.



Mary Jane Judkins

Mary Jane Judkins, 78, of Jones passed away at Summit Ridge Retirement Center April 1, 2007. She was born July 29, 1928, to Claude A. and Ethel (Wilson) Campbell in Jones. She retired from Presbyterian Hospital after 25 years as a medical specialist. She was a member of Jones First Baptist Church and enjoyed attending the senior citizens meals at the church. She also enjoyed working in her gardens and sewing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; her parents; her brother, Edward Campbell; a granddaughter; and a son-in-law, Derril Sikes. She is survived by four daughters, Jane Ella Kime and husband Dale, Elaine Sikes, Carolyn Weese and husband Delbert and Julie Smith and husband Gary; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, LaVon Law. Funeral services were 2 p.m. April 3 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at Jones IOOF Cemetery in Jones. Services were under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Northeast.
