Victim pleads for pictures

Midwest City resident Charles Gordon lost some of his most precious possessions last Wednesday night when a trailer was taken from the side of his house on Symphony Lane.

Inside the trailer was a file cabinet containing important documents and all his family photos. Memories of vacations, growing children and family milestones were contained within the drawers.

Gordon has issued a personal plea for the photos to be returned.

“I don’t really care about the rest of it, but I’d really like to get those photos back,” said Gordon. “They’re something you can’t replace.”

Gordon is set to retire in less than 20 days. He was preparing for a move to Eufaula, Okla. last Wednesday, packing a trailer with his personal items. According to Brandon Clabes, Midwest City police chief, Gordon finished packing and went to bed around 10:30 p.m. When he woke up in the morning, the trailer was gone.

“Apparently, sometime during the evening someone came up and drove off with the trailer and the photos,” Clabes said.

Gordon said he felt he had secured the trailer as best as he could against a break-in. It took him by surprise that somebody just hooked up to the trailer and drove off.

The trailer is white, 14-feet long and has two doors, one on the back and one on the side. Both doors have the words “Team Sheen Racing” written in red.
