Authorities nab robbery suspect

According to the FBI, Jimmy L. Starks, 29, has been identified as a suspect in two bank robberies, one of which occurred in Del City.

Starks is presently in custody for unrelated attempted robbery charges.

Special agent James E. Finch identified Starks as a suspect while investigating the two robberies.

The first robbery was May 20 at the Bank of Oklahoma in Del City at 4129 S.E. 29 St. The other robbery happened on May 23 at the Bank of America in Oklahoma City.

Starks was charged Thursday with bank robbery and bank robbery with a dangerous weapon. The case is being investigated by the FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department.
