Dukes dreams big

“God created rocks,” said Spencer native and musician Cameron Dukes. “We can make a hospital with it or beat someone over the head with it.” Dukes said he uses this analogy to explain his view on music. He explained that music itself isn’t a bad thing. It can be molded for good or molded to promote badness.   • Salvation Army, OG&E distribute fans to cool summer heat
    As temperatures promise to heat up Oklahoma City, The Salvation Army Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area Command will hand out box fans to qualified citizens who need relief from the heat. OG&E also donated 200 additional fans on June 16 to help with the fan giveaway.

    Rose State College president Dr. Terry Britton said the college is going to recommend to its governing board of regents no tuition increase for the coming school year.
